Kamunting-Butterworth-Gurun Line : ウィキペディア英語版
KTM Komuter Northern Sector

The Kamunting-Butterworth-Gurun Line is one of the four KTM Komuter services introduced by Keretapi Tanah Melayu on 11 September 2015. This followed the completion of the Ipoh-Padang Besar Electrification and Double-Tracking Project in December 2014.
The service branded as KTM Komuter Shuttle Northern Sector translated from ''Tren Shuttle KTM Komuter Sektor Utara'' in Bahasa Malaysia) between Gurun in Kedah, Butterworth in Pulau Pinang and Kamunting in Perak.
== Line ==
Currently, the Kamunting-Butterworth-Gurun Line consists of one line with trains shuttling between Gurun and Kamunting, the two ends of the line, as well as the branch line between Butterworth and Bukit Mertajam.
The length of the line is 144 km and will took 2 hours journey.
The service offered 12 times a day, 6 train service from Kamunting and 6 train service from Gurun. For the beginning of the service, the tren frequency is every 3 hours. First train schedule at 5:00am and the last train at 8:00pm at both terminal stations.
